Refund Policy

1. Application Fee

The $150 application fee (or $200 with a payment plan) is non-refundable and is applied toward course tuition. This fee covers the cost of processing your enrollment application and reserving your seat in a cohort.

2. Tuition Refunds for Withdrawal

Refund eligibility for tuition paid beyond the application fee depends on the timing of your written withdrawal request:

• Before the first day of class: Full refund of tuition paid beyond the application fee, minus a $50 administrative processing fee.
• Within the first week of class: 75% refund of tuition paid beyond the application fee.
• After the first week through the second week: 50% refund of tuition paid beyond the application fee.
• After the second week of class: No refund is available; all tuition and fees are non-refundable.

All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to admissions@hctiky.com. Refunds are processed within 30 business days of the approved withdrawal.

3. Payment Plans & Financing

Students enrolled on an in-house payment plan remain responsible for the full tuition balance regardless of the withdrawal date, except where a refund is expressly granted under Section 2. The $50 payment plan fee is non-refundable. Extended financing arranged through third-party partners is governed by that partner's agreement.

4. Third-Party & Referred Students

Students whose tuition is paid or invoiced through a sponsoring agency (such as a workforce board or employer) are subject to the refund terms of the agreement between HCTI and that agency.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable: application fees, payment plan fees, supplies, scrubs, and the CNA Study Buddy™ app access (included with tuition). Any supplies or vouchers already distributed are not eligible for refund.

6. Cancellation by HCTI

If HCTI cancels a program or cohort, students receive a full refund of all tuition and fees paid, or the option to transfer to a future cohort at no additional cost.
